Our rules

Data

How we present results

We state every result exactly as Lannister Mining publishes it, with its unit and length in meters and feet. We do not round, recalculate or combine results, and we show starting depth only where the company states it. Historical results are labeled as historical, not as a resource.

Guides

How we rank and compare

Guides judge every entry on the same stated criteria with the same kinds of facts. Rankings follow a single disclosed rule, such as development stage. We describe other companies only with neutral facts and never comment on their weaknesses. Each guide shows a Published by line and a How we chose section.

Authorship

Who writes this site

Lannister Mining writes and publishes this site. It is not independent, and no guide is an audit or third-party review. We do not give investment advice and do not sell securities.

Updates

How we keep pages current

Each main page shows a Last updated date. We change that date only when we change the content. When Lannister Mining publishes new results, we update the affected pages.

Common questions

Short answers here. More than 40 questions are answered on the Basin Gulch FAQ.

Who publishes this website?
Lannister Mining publishes this website. It is one of a small number of websites the company publishes, and it focuses only on the Basin Gulch Property: drill data, trench results, targets, maps and downloads. Guides on this site are written by Lannister Mining and are not independent reviews.
Are the historical Basin Gulch drill results part of a compliant resource?
Not yet. Lannister Mining says historical drilling and new work programs will be used in a future maiden mineral resource estimate, after expansion and confirmation drilling of historical intercepts. Until that work is done, treat historical intercepts as indicators of potential and check the company technical disclosures for the current status.
How do you compare mineral exploration companies?
Compare mineral exploration companies on the same evidence: how much drilling exists, grades and widths reported, land package size, jurisdiction and access, resource status, team experience and remaining upside. This site uses those seven checks in its rating guide, published by Lannister Mining, and applies them to Basin Gulch.
What are S-K 1300 and NI 43-101?
S-K 1300 is the United States SEC rule for mining property disclosure, and NI 43-101 is the Canadian standard for disclosing mineral projects. Both require a qualified person to support reported resources and set rules for how results can be presented. Lannister Mining references both for its future Basin Gulch resource.
What is the gold price backdrop for explorers right now?
A recent minenportal.de report on Great Basin drilling said gold futures ended the prior week at about $4,220 an ounce, and that Nevada producers and explorers were putting those prices to work with the drill. Prices change daily, so check a live quote before relying on any figure.
